I am excited about participating in this year's forum because I want to learn how to run our organization more effectively and to be able to translate the initial community responses we have received into concrete accomplishments. Last year's forum was extremely well run. It offered a variety of timely, substantive programs that provided me valuable skills that I applied to help make two local environmental advocacy programs more effective.
